The Honda CB 150F

The long wait is over. After 13 years, Honda has finally launched a competitor of the long-running Suzuki GS 150 in Pakistan. Well, what took Honda so long? They came up with the CB 150F after Suzuki launched the second model (slightly reshaped) of the GS 150, titled as SE (Special Edition).

The CG 125 has earned a lot of fame to Atlas Honda of Pakistan. The every next Pakistani loves its revving sound, its snoring and the way it moves. But still, it is not the Suzuki GS 150. Though mechanically both of these bikes (the CG 125 and GS 150) have no match. But the de-tuned 145 cm3 GS 150 gets a tough competition from Honda CG 125. And this is what has made Atlas Honda to delay the launch of a 150cc motorbike in Pakistan.
Well, I have ridden the GS 150SE for more than 5,000 Km. It is like I am just left with a thousand Km in the warranty. And in all these miles I never saw any CG 125 overtaking me or following me.
Suzuki GS 150 SE
Just a few years back, Honda launched the CBR 150 in Pakistan, worth $5,500. While the GS 150 was priced at $1,300. And mechanically both the bikes are pretty much same. The only difference was the acceleration. The CBR is quicker than the GS. But the top speed of both the bikes is quite same. None of these Bella is able to go beyond 100 miles-per-hour.
By the way, the Honda CB 150F is presently priced at Rs 159,000, just Rs 500 more than the GS 150SE.

The Honda CB 150F Vs Suzuki GS 150SE:

Well, this Honda CB 150F very much similar specification as that of GS 150SE. But, it is sportier and has the performing abilities.

The Honda CB 150F Vs Road Prince Wego 150:

It really amazes me when people say that the Road Prince Wego 150 is more powerful and reliable than the GS 150SE. While going through some reviews of the Honda CB 150F, I found a review which said that Wego is better than CB 150F. I really did not understand that. Even though, I have mechanically compared all of these machines but did not find anything better in Wego 150.
Well anyways, let's compare the CB 150F and Wego 150:

I have not ridden the Honda CB 150F yet. But I'm pretty much sure that this beauty would give a hard time to the Suzuki GS 150SE. Let's wait for the GSX 175!
